Touring
Handbell groups have special challenges when touring. ICPHS will be working hard to help you meet those challenges so that touring can be more profitable. We hope to set up special travel assistance, both through grants to touring groups, and by negotiating special rates with various travel providers. In addition, through our Clinician Data Base, and Consultants, we plan to provide you with up to date information on the most efficient and cost-effective methods to keep your show on the road.

Equipment
Handbell groups have special equipment challenges. ICPHS plans to set up an equipment clearing house so you can find the C2 you need on the road, so you don't have to ship yours! As our membership builds, and as we see what needs you have, we plan to help you find what you need and get it where you need it on the road.
In addition, as the voice of the Community and Professional movement in Handbells, ICPHS might even have some influence on the equipment that is manufactured and made available to us over the years.
Funding
One of the Community and Professional Handbell movement's biggest challenges is under-capitalization. Almost none of us have the cash it takes to meet our goals. ICPHS's first, most important undertaking is to access whatever funding is out there for the arts and education, so that we can make that funding available to you.
This will take the form of grants for your special projects, underwriting projects that ICPHS will organize, and bringing on the experts that you need in order to meet your goals. Check out the Consultants area of Resources to see what we have planned.

Consultants
Because Community and Professional Handbell groups are so often under-capitalized, we don't often have access to the experts we need to reach our goals. One of ICPHS's first investments will be in giving you access to consultants who have the expertise you need.
First on our Consultant Wish List would be a Grant Writer and a Publicist. We envision that Consultants would be made available to ICPHS members (on a sliding scale, depending on your level of membership) to work on your projects and tours. We figure that, by employing these consultants as a group, we can bring you services that each Com or Pro group could never afford on their own.
We would very much like to hear what your group's needs are, so that we can add further consultants to our Wish List. If you have access to experts in the areas of Grant Writing, Publicity, or anything else you think would be useful to the ICPHS community as a whole, please let any member of the Committee know.
